We’ve all come to know the compact, focused sound of the modern Vandoren soprano pieces, like the S25.

Well, this one precedes the current models by a lot of years. There is no model number.

It’s a medium chambered piece with a rich dark sound. It plays easily with # 3 1/2 reeds and the response is instantaneous.

The tip is .044 but don’t let that fool you. It plays bigger than that. There is no baffle at all.
