The world of playing soprano saxophone just got more interesting with the introduction of the CORO mouthpiece.
It’s not one mouthpiece but 3 mouthpieces because it comes in 3 unique chamber designs, specifically to bring out a specific voice, each one different from the next.
CORO-1, with the smallest chamber of the three, is a focused, textured “electric” sound. Think Bechet, Coltrane, Sam Rivers. A real traditional “soprano” sound, no hint of alto anywhere!
CORO-2, with the middle-size chamber, is a quick, more spread sound but still with a solid, textured core. Think Branford Marsalis or early Steve Lacy.
CORO-3 has the largest chamber, with a warm but solid fullness. Think Wayne Shorter, all the way.

The mouthpiece is 3D printed and then hand-worked by me. Each one is play-tested until it sings the way it should.
