I have it now and have tested it out and yes, it’s what you promised. It projects really strongly, bright when I want that, yet subtones are easy to play and nicely rounded. It also plays more in tune than any of the other mouthpieces I have. I found that the stiffer reeds ( Rigotti 3 medium and strong) that I have been using with my Jody 5* didn’t sound as good on it as my softer reeds. That makes sense because the tip opening on the SL is larger. Having said that, the softer reeds really made the tone pop with power and clarity while still giving me a lot of control. High D-F play much more easily now.  Just to experiment a bit I also put in a Legere 2 synthetic, and that was truly amazing. Even more brightness and power, still precise tuning, great control on scooping notes, subtones and the top end. I told you that I am focused on truly finding my personal tone and you are correct that this mouthpiece gives me the flexibility and control I need to find it. Thanks again Joe!
