This is one of the original Sopranoplanet  “METRO” mouthpieces and has been in the shop for a long time.

There is a good deal of surface oxidation but NO taste or smell issues at all. None.

I kept this one because the shank cracked when I was making it. I repaired the crack and added a silver collar to reinforce the repair. The crack has been stable ever since and does not any impact on the quality of the mouthpiece.

The tip is .053 and it plays easily and smoothly with Marca Superieure # 3 reeds.

I do not make the “METRO” anymore and they almost never come up for resale on the open market. Players love their Metropolitain mouthpieces.
