AXIEME is a mouthpiece design I produced for 4 years. Its inspiration was the Selmer S80, a mouthpiece I played for more than a decade.

The thing that makes the AXIEME more than the S80 is the chamber configuration. The S80 always has a chamber that was too small, so the AXIEME has a more robust chamber and, because of that, a fuller, richer sound.

I came across a few of them recently in rearranging my workshop.

This is a shop sample but in very nice condition and plays the way a great S80 should play.
