Martin large chamber soprano mouthpieces are the choice of a large majority of Rascher-style classical players. And there’s a reason for that. These are elegant, warm, robust mouthpieces when they are correctly set up. This one, with a tip opening of .045, is a beauty. It plays effortlessly with # 3 1/2 reeds. It is in beautiful condition, clean in all respects. This is also a piece that has a lot of Wayne Shorter in it, with a slightly different set-up, which is a simple adjustment. I love these pieces and love it when one comes into the shop.
